About

Allah Rakha Rahman, born in Chennai, India in 1967, is an Oscar-winning composer, singer and music producer. He won two Academy Awards in 2009 for the soundtrack and the song 'Jai Ho' from 'Slumdog Millionaire'. In India he is known as the 'Mozart of Madras' for his revolutionary fusion of Indian classical music with Western electronic. He has composed over 150 film soundtracks and has sold over 200 million records worldwide.
