She is the first Black travesti musician to reach the top of the iTunes Brazil chart six times, establishing herself as a leading LGBTQIA+ voice from Alagoas. An emerging phenomenon in Brazil's queer pop scene, Danny Bond has brought the vibrant culture of Alagoas’ peripheries to a national audience, becoming one of the few contemporary artists from the state to gain widespread recognition.
