About

William Sami Etienne Grigahcine, known as DJ Snake, was born in Paris, France in 1986, son of Algerian parents. He rose to international fame with 'Turn Down for What' (2013) alongside Lil Jon, and cemented his status with 'Lean On' (2015) alongside Major Lazer. His album 'Carte Blanche' (2019) included collaborations with Selena Gomez, Cardi B and Ozuna. Recognized for fusing electronic music with Arab, Latin and urban world sounds.
