Her signature song "Atemlos durch die Nacht" was the best-selling song in Germany in 2014. She has had the best-selling album of the year in Germany five times: in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017, and 2018. She ranked No. 8 on Forbes' list of "The World's Highest-Paid Women in Music 2018," earning US$ 32 million. Fischer has been referred to as the "Queen of Schlager".
