Shaffer Chimere Smith, born in Camden, Arkansas in 1979, is an American R&B and pop singer, songwriter and producer. Before his career as a singer, he wrote 'Let Me Love You' for Mario, one of the biggest R&B hits of the 2000s. His albums 'In My Own Words' (2006) and 'Because of You' (2007) produced hits like 'So Sick' and 'Because of You'. He has won three Grammys and also co-wrote Beyonce's 'Irreplaceable'.
