Their debut album 'In the Lonely Hour' (2014) was a massive hit, driven by the single 'Stay with Me', and earned them four Grammys. They also won the Oscar and Golden Globe for 'Writing's on the Wall', the James Bond film 'Spectre' theme. In 2019, Sam Smith came out as non-binary and continues releasing successful music, including the album 'Gloria' (2023).
