Seth is the third son of Adam and Eve in the Abrahamic religions. The Hebrew Bible names two of his siblings as Cain and Abel. According to Genesis 4:25, Seth was born after the event of Cain's murder of Abel, and Eve believed that God had appointed him as a replacement for Abel.
