Originalmente estaba compuesta por Jimi Hazel (guitarra), Rick Skatore (bajo), Kindu Phibes (batería) y P. Fluid (voz). La banda se hizo popular por sus particulares mezclas de soul, funk, reggae, rap y R&B con heavy metal y punk.
