Alesha Anjanette Dixon es una cantante, bailarina, rapera, modelo y presentadora de televisión británica. Ella alcanzó la fama en el trío femenino de R&B/garage, Mis-Teeq. El trío se disolvió en 2005 y Dixon siguió una carrera musical como solista, firmando con Polydor Records. Comenzó a grabar su álbum debut en solitario, Fired Up, en 2006, pero debido a las malas ventas de sus dos primeros sencillos, «Lipstick» y «Knockdown», fue retirada de Polydor.
