Robert Nesta Marley fue un cantante, compositor y guitarrista jamaicano nacido en Nine Mile en 1945. Es el artista mas influyente de la historia del reggae y un icono cultural universal. Con Bob Marley and The Wailers, creo clasicos como 'No Woman, No Cry', 'Redemption Song', 'One Love', 'Buffalo Soldier' y 'Three Little Birds'. Su musica fusiono reggae con mensajes de paz, resistencia y espiritualidad rastafari. Fallecio en 1981 a los 36 anos. Su legado trasciende la musica: es simbolo global de libertad, justicia social y cultura caribeña.
