De Dannan

Acerca de

De Dannan es un grupo de música folclórica irlandesa. Fue formado en 1975 por Frankie Gavin (violín), Alec Finn, Johnny "Ringo" McDonagh (bodhrán) y Charlie Piggott (banjo) como resultado de sesiones en Hughes's Pub en Spiddal, Condado de Galway, Irlanda. Posteriormente la gran vocalista Dolores Keane fue invitada a unirse a la banda. También se reconoce al violinista Mickey Finn (1951-1987) como miembro fundador.
