Destruction es una banda alemana de thrash metal fundada en 1983 conformada originalmente como un power trio por el bajista y vocalista Marcel Schirmer, el guitarrista Mike Sifringer y el batería Tommy Sandmann en Weil am Rhein, en el estado de Baden-Württemberg. Schirmer es el único miembro permanente de la banda desde su fundación, así como es su principal compositor.
