Don Caballero fue un cuarteto estadounidense de math rock y rock instrumental formado en el verano de 1991, editando cinco álbumes en Touch and Go Records entre 1993 y 2000, antes de separarse en noviembre de 2000. El baterista Damon Che reunió a nuevos músicos para reconstituir Don Caballero en 2003, pero esta nueva formación ha sido recibida de diferente forma por los fanes de la banda. Firmaron con Relapse Records, con la que sacaron sus dos últimos álbumes de estudio, World Class Listening Problem, el 16 de mayo de 2006 y Punkgasm, el 25 de agosto de 2008.
