Glenn Hughes es un músico de rock británico de amplia trayectoria, bajista y cantante de Deep Purple en los años 1970. A mediados de la década de 1980 fue vocalista de Black Sabbath y realizó colaboraciones para Tony Iommi. Según ha contado en numerosas entrevistas, sus padres le pusieron el nombre debido al fanatismo por el músico estadounidense Glenn Miller.
