Gorillaz es un proyecto musical virtual britanico creado en 1998 por el musico Damon Albarn y el artista grafico Jamie Hewlett. La banda esta compuesta por cuatro personajes animados ficticios: 2-D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle y Russel Hobbs. Su album 'Demon Days' (2005) vendio mas de 8 millones de copias e incluyo el exitoso sencillo 'Feel Good Inc.', ganador del Grammy. Son pioneros en fusionar rock alternativo, hip hop, electronica y pop, ademas de revolucionar el concepto de banda virtual.
