La Dispute es una banda de post-hardcore formada en el año 2004, en Grand Rapids, Míchigan. Su nombre se debe a la novela homónima del 1744 de Pierre de Marivaux. Integrados actualmente por el vocalista Jordan Dreyer, el baterista Brad Vander Lugt, los guitarristas Chad Sterenberg y Corey Stroffolino y el bajista Adam Vass.
