Mark Allen Mothersbaugh es un músico, compositor y artista estadounidense. Alcanzó notoriedad a fines de la década de 1970 como cofundador, cantante principal y teclista de la banda de new wave Devo, cuyo sencillo «Whip It» llegó al top 20 de Estados Unidos en 1980 y con la que mantiene un club de seguidores hasta la actualidad. Mothersbaugh fue uno de los principales compositores de la música del grupo.
