Steven Patrick Morrissey o simplemente Morrissey es un cantante, compositor y autor británico. Llegó a la prominencia como el líder de The Smiths, una banda de rock que estuvo activa desde 1982 hasta 1987. Desde entonces, ha creado una carrera comercialmente exitosa como solista. Su música se caracteriza por su estilo vocal y su distintivo contenido lírico con temas recurrentes de aislamiento emocional, anhelo sexual, autodegradación y humor negro, además de posturas antisistema.
