Prefab Sprout es una banda de pop-rock británica que se formó en Durham en 1978 por los hermanos Paddy y Martin McAloon. La alineación más influyente tuvo lugar durante los años 1980 incluyendo a Wendy Smith -bajista y corista- y al baterista Neil Conti.
