Tears for Fears

Tears for Fears es un dúo británico de pop rock fundado por Curt Smith y Roland Orzabal en 1981. La banda tomó su nombre de un capítulo del libro de psicoterapia "Prisoners of Pain" del psicólogo estadounidense Arthur Janov. Su estilo pop rock, combinación de new wave y soul, se refleja en cada una de sus producciones musicales. Sus principales influencias musicales han sido The Beatles, Human League y Duran Duran, aunque también han llegado a sonar con similitud con Supertramp y Spandau Ballet. Canciones como Everybody Wants to Rule the World, "Shout" y "Sowing the Seeds of Love" convirtieron a Tears for Fears en uno de los grupos más importantes de los años 80, y en uno de los grupos más reconocidos a nivel mundial.
