The Allman Brothers Band fue una banda estadounidense de rock formada en 1969 en Jacksonville (Florida) por Duane Allman (guitarra), Gregg Allman, Butch Trucks (batería), Berry Oakley (bajo), Jai Johanny «Jaimoe» Johanson (batería) y Dickey Betts. El grupo suele ser acreditado como el principal creador del rock sureño, aunque su música también incorpora elementos del blues, del jazz y del country, y sus actuaciones estaban orientadas hacia la improvisación instrumental.
