The Pointer Sister es un grupo musical formado en 1969 en Oakland, California. Obtuvieron su mayor éxito en los años 70 y 80. Han vendido aproximadamente más 45 millones de discos a lo largo de su carrera. Ganaron tres Premios Grammy y recibieron su estrella en el Paseo de la Fama de Hollywood en 1994. El grupo obtuvo más de 20 top hits en los Estados Unidos entre 1973 y 1991.
