La banda se formó en Seattle, USA en 1993. La formación consta actualmente de tres componentes: Jason Finn, Chris Ballew y Andrew McKeag. El cantante Dave Dederer dejó la banda en 2004, después de 11 años. Han editado desde su formación 6 álbumes de estudio.
