Estuvo compuesta originalmente por Howard Kaylan (voz), Mark Volman (coros), Al Nichol, Jim Tucker, Chuck Portz (bajo) y Don Murray (batería); otros miembros posteriores fueron los bajistas Chip Douglas y Jim Pons, y los bateristas Joel Larson, John Barbata y John Seiter.
