Timbiriche was a Mexican Latin pop group formed in 1981 as a children's music project, created in response to the Spanish group Parchís. Over time, the band transitioned into teen pop and later to a more mature pop sound. It is regarded as one of the most influential Latin pop groups of the 1980s and early 1990s.
