Acerca de

El RMS Titanic fue un transatlántico británico diseñado por los ingenieros navales Alexander Carlisle y Thomas Andrews y construido en los astilleros de Harland & Wolff para la compañía naviera White Star Line. Fue el segundo de los tres navíos que constituían la clase Olympic, junto a sus buques gemelos, el RMS Olympic y el HMHS Britannic. Fue en su momento el barco más grande y lujoso del mundo, superando incluso al Olympic, y el más moderno del mundo, incluso se afirmaba que era insumergible, hasta su hundimiento en 1912.
