Ahmed Ololade, known as Asake, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter born in Lagos in 1995. He is the biggest star in contemporary Afrobeats, fusing Amapiano, Fuji and street pop. His album 'Mr. Money with the Vibe' (2022) debuted at #66 on the Billboard 200, a milestone for African music. 'Lungu Boy' (2024) cemented his global status. Hits like 'Sungba', 'Joha' and 'Lonely at the Top' dominated African and global charts. His unique style combines Yoruba tradition with modern production.
