Babasonicos is an Argentinian alternative rock band formed in Lanus, Buenos Aires, in 1991. Led by Adrian Dargelos, the band navigated alternative rock, electronic, glam and pop with a provocative attitude. 'Jessico' (2001) is considered one of the best Argentinian rock albums, with hits like 'Putita' and 'El Colmo'. They've sustained a 30+ year career without losing relevance, rare in Argentinian rock. 'Discutible' (2018) and 'Trinchera' (2022) showed they keep evolving. Recognized for their intellectualism, visual aesthetic and capacity for reinvention.
