Television Personalities es una banda británica de post-punk formada en Londres en 1977 y liderada por el cantante, guitarrista y compositor Dan Treacy. El grupo también ha sido incluido dentro de géneros como la neo-psicodelia y el indie pop. Se dieron a conocer con el sencillo "Part Time Punks", una de las canciones favoritas del locutor de la BBC John Peel. Entre los miembros que han formado parte del grupo están 'Slaughter Joe' Joe Foster, Ed Ball, Jowe Head y Jeffrey Bloom entre 1983 y 1994. Treacy, Head y Bloom conformaron la alineación más duradera de la banda. A lo largo de su carrera, se han separado varias veces a causa de las circunstancias personales de Treacy.
